A way to save

I don't know how many of you are out there who are poor students like Dave and me but we now consider ourselves to be the lowest of the low. Now i know there are a few of you who wash your cars in that do-it-yourself wash and depending on how fast you wash your car is how much you get charged. Well living in Rexburg where the snow is melted by dirt and rocks thrown on the ground, our small accord looks like its been off-roading to Montana and back millions of times and never washed.

We finally decided to go and try the do-it-yourself wash, well to our surprise when we got in the slot the water was going!! So we hurried and jumped out to try and rinse our car off before the free water stopped (its cheaper that way!) After we got half the car it went off, well we waited and wall-ah it went back on! So we found that it's just a pressure thing and we could rinse our whole car for free if we just waited for a couple minuets but then soap started coming out! Yes, our dream was coming true we may not have to pay anything!! We got most of our car and thought we should really soap it up. So the guy next to us in the other slot left and had some soap on the brush still so we ran to our car and zoomed over to that slot and brushed it up. Now some of you are thinking, okay you are cheap!! And others are thinking... where is this car wash, i need to go?? But just to redeem ourselves, we did end up paying a little just to power rinse our car off. But the moral of the story... you can really get your car cleaned without paying your pay check in quarters.

Valentines Day

For Valentines day well really the day before because we were going to be up at the Island Park cabin on Saturday with Dave's family. So Friday for our Valentines Night I got to go to work til 7:30 and i came home with my feet killing me! I came home whining to Dave and then opened the door to our room and a balloon came out and hit my face so i just stood there for a second trying to figure out what that was... Once i opened the door and turned on the lights our room was cleaned with balloons and a walk way of flower pedals and I Love You written out, my favorite chocolates (they're white chocolate) and for those who don't know i LOVE dogs so he got the cutest card that just screamed my name. My honey always knows how to surprise me when I least expect it. Thanks babe, I love you!

One of those days...

As some of you have heard, this week has been a strengthening one but definitely a rocky one! I went for my 12 week check up yesterday and we received some saddening news, there was no longer a heartbeat. I went in for a dnc surgery this morning. It's a great help that we're living with my family and around Dave's family they are helping us so so much! I'm so thankful for the atonement and how much it helps. The Savior is watching over us at this time with angels attending us. This just makes us want children that much more and realize how special life really is. We are so thankful for everyone's love and support at this time.

On a happier note... when the surgery was over Dave got to come in and apparently i was still really "out of it" for about 15 min. and he asked if I wanted him to sing to me and i said yes. Now on a side note when we went to Seattle to visit Jessica and Travis, Dave and I put their little boy to bed and I made up a song to sing to him called "J J the Jet Plane." Well Dave decided to sing that song and i guess i just sang right along with him while my eyes were still shut and not coherent. So it is now ingrained into my subconsciousness.
