What do you do on your spare time?

Well one Saturday night Dave and I for once had nothing to do, okay we did but we decided to procrastinate our homework for the night and build a house! Not any house but the house out of the book, "If you give a pig a pancake."

We thought it would be fun, so we ran to Wal-mart and got a lot of popcicle sticks, got my mother's hot glue gun, and started to glue. Little did we know that this "project" of ours was going to take forever.

This is as far as we got when we said, "I think were done with this project it's taking too long" We plan on building on to our house when we have some more "free time" in the future.

Congratulations Kelli and TJ

About a month-month and a half ago Dave and I went down to Utah for a wedding for one of my friends, Kelli and TJ. The wedding was beautiful and they even had a sushi chef! Also, my two best friends, Megan and Kirsten came up from California and I got to hang out with them for part of the weekend, it was awesome!

Do you blame me

Okay so I'm not so good at updating the blog right now but do you blame me? I'm taking 19 credits plus a part time job! That's a lot of work however i must say I'm doing pretty good in my classes, go figure.

Dave is taking 14 credits and still looking for an internship, cross your fingers!

We'll be heading down to Salk Lake this upcoming memorial day weekend for my cousin's wedding and when we come back my uncle is coming up to Idaho! So hopefully I'll have some pictures posted this next weekend. Until then.. keep smiling it's almost summer!!!

Round 9!!!

Awhile back Dave and I had a few "friends" coming to our house ALL the time... Some friends we call wild mice. Surprise surprise they're back! However lucky for me I don't have to be the side kick to catch the little guys now... my dad is.

So my dad came up with these great inventions....
Invention 1... a milk carton with the bottom cut out and taped to the wall. They climb into it and out the top of the carton into a box and WHAM they're stuck

Invention 2... the same milk carton but now it's a ramp into a box. Dave and dad had a ton of exciting moments in catching these mice and dad and experienced the sleepless nights we used to have. In total we have now caught 9 mice in that one wall.

Our "Spring Break" Surprise

For our week break between semesters Dave and I went to Boise for Cynthia and Dean's wedding which turned out just so cute!! Congrats

Then we headed down to Dave's parents house for Easter Sunday which was so much fun! Heather and Doug introduced us to this cheap way of getting a hotel called priceline and we got one in downtown Salt Lake (thanks guys!) We went shopping, the Salt Lake Temple, went to dinner, even spontaneously went to a Jazz game!

Dave and Mom (daves mom) had a grand snow fight, we watched American Idol, played Guitar Hero at a Best Buy and went out to eat more. We had a great break and now were back to college life

What lengths will you go to get a job?

Dave has been trying to find an internship for construction and considering the economy, company's haven't really been hiring interns so we thought we may just need to resort to this method...

Just a little update..

Dave and I have been chatting about adding another post but lately our days consist of this...

Waking up late (even though the alarm goes off at 6:15 every morning, the snooze button gets hit until 8:30 almost every morning) running off to school, staying there until 3:00... usually later for Dave like 7:00, then coming home for a nice long load of homework.Who wouldn't love our life?? The good news is.. finals are here, which results in school is almost done well alteast this semester is. And we now have St. George to look forward to.
We deciede for a "spring break" were going to go to St. George for some warm sun, Inn-n-out, a great pool, and to see my wonderful grandparents. Until then... the blog will most likely get post-poned because of well you guessed it.... work, work, and more work in the wonderful days of college life.
