Our honeymoon came to an end and it was time to board our flight to start our journey home. Well we arrived to the airport at about 6:15 and discovered that our 7:15 flight was canceled due to weather... which there was a hurricane being watched somewhere near by... so we booked the next flight we could to get out of St. marten and into America. Well our original flight schedule was to have us leave at 7:15 am and landing in Salt Lake around 7:55 pm. This is what happened we spent 8 hours trying to sleep in an iceberg of an airport until our flight was going to leave. We then realized we could have gotten out about 2 hours earlier and caught another flight to Dallas to get us to Salt Lake earlier then we were scheduled for. Sad for us, we didn't get it. So 2:50 pm rolled around and we got on our flight and it took us to San Juan which we then RAN to our next flight barley making it then went to Miami Airport. We got in around 8:30 pm and then slept in that airport until 6:15 the next morning. (Why are airports so dang cold?? It's like they crank up the air conditioning at night!!) So we froze over the night on hard concrete floors and then took our flight to Dallas, TX and RAN again to our next flight which we barely made that took us to Salt Lake. We landed around 12:25 and were so glad to be on the ground not sleeping in airports. It was definitely an experience that we will never forget.

I can relate. When we moved out here to AZ we got to our house and there was no electricity. So we were stuck moving in at 12am in 106degree weather with no lights. We ended up staying at the hotel down the street WITH JAKE'S MOM!!! Pretty awkward 3rd night of being married. I think i got you beat. Haha.
airports are always soooo cold!! When we flew to Florida I brought a sweatshirt with me which was so silly cause it was 100 degrees when we left CA and 100 degrees when we got to FL but the airports are always sooo cold!
Welcome to the family Chelsea. We already love you lots. We are so excited to live close to you. We need to come up with creative things to do in the snow. Ha!!!
